Stuffed baked Annurche apples

Ingredients:

  • 4 Annurche apples
  • 1 orange
  • 8 amaretto cookies
  • 50 g chopped hazelnuts
  • wildflower honey to taste

Preparation
Wash the apples and dry them with a cloth, then chop off the tops, saving them to cap the baked apples after they have been stuffed with filling.
Remove the pulp using a small knife and dice it into small pieces: put the pieces in a bowl and add the orange zest, the orange juice, the crumbled amaretto cookies and the chopped hazelnuts.
Stuff the filling into the apples, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush some wildflower honey around the base of each apple. Cover with the tops you have set aside and bake at 375° F (190° C) in a preheated, unventilated oven for 25 minutes. Let cool before serving.
